Privacy
Help with Bill (helpwithbill.com) reads the medical bill, EOB, or collection notice you upload so we can return a plain-English explanation and a response pack. Educational only — not legal, medical, or insurance advice.
What we store
- Uploaded files and the decode we generate, tied to a random ID
- Payment metadata from Stripe if you unlock a full pack
- Basic technical logs needed to run the service (no document text)
What we don’t do
- Sell your documents, or sell leads from your uploads
- Contact your insurer, provider, or collector
- Use your uploads in ads or public creatives
- Claim to be your insurer, hospital, or law firm
Retention
Default keep is about 30 days, then the files are eligible for deletion. We do not keep a permanent archive of your bills. If you unlocked a pack, use the email you received it at to ask for earlier deletion.
Payments
Card processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
